In 1. you said: If it is critical that you release a new version, you can always appeal to the release manager for a new release via the gnustep-dev@gnu.org mailing list. However, would the GNUstep be really released when asked for? What would be the rules for releasing GNUstep 'because some project needs it'? Do not get me wrong, I am not saying that we should not do that, as I think that at this moment ANY gnustep project is worth the minor GNUstep release.
